The "View Call Hierarchy" is an improvised version of the "Find all references" option. This provides some good information on the calls to the method or code , with some understanding on the source code.
You can invoke this by right-clicking on a method or a property and by choosing "View
Call Hierarchy" from the context menu
You can drag and drop statements in watch window, and the windows will evaluate the statement.
Install the Visual Studio Power Tools package and get the faster Add Reference Dialog.
Install the Power Tools package for Visual studio, and you can add/remove assembly references using the single dialog.
Output Window can be used as a diagnostic tool to figure out what is wrong during a build. It helps you understand the build process to a great extent.
Right-click on a class file or any particular method definition and choose "Generate Sequence Diagram".
Choose the call depth and click OK.
And it creates a sequence diagram for you.
You can view the Architecture Explorer under the View menu. This view draws graphs that shows dependancies, inheritance and much more. You can figure out circular dependancies , dead code and much more.
