Creating and configuring SharePoint Document Library

This explains how to create and configure a SharePoint Document Library.
For this you need to have a site and some document which is by default a minimum
requirement if you are to work with documents anyway.
1) Click on
“Create” which can be seen on the top link bar
2) Click on “Document Library”
on the “Create Page” page.
3) Enter any name to the Library in the Name
box
4) Add some description in the Description field.
5) If you wish
to document library on Quick Launch bar, in the Navigation section, click “yes”
to put a link to this document library on the Quick Launch bar.
6) In the
“Document Versions” select Yes if you wish to have versioning of the documents
and No, if you wish not to maintain any versions.
7) Click Create
And,
that’s it, document library is created.
