Visual Studio .NET - Total Number of Languages Supported by .Net

Hi All, I was asked in the interview about exact number of languages supported by .Net??? I said it as 42/40 but they said Kindly give the correct answer... Please let me know ....the answer Thanks, Arth

You could possibly call them CLI Languages. Wikipedia has this defination and a list - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CLI_Languages
