SharePoint - Excel Web Access. An error has occurred.

Please contact your system administrator if this problem persists. I setup the trusted location.

Event view shows 3 errors:

1. No Excel Calculation Services is available in the farm.[User:

2. There was an error in communicating with Excel Calculation Services http://server:56737/SharedServices1/ExcelCalculationServer/ExcelService.asmx exception: The request failed with HTTP status 503: Service Unavailable.

[Session: (null)

3. Unable to reach Excel Calculation Services http://server:56737/SharedServices1/ExcelCalculationServer/ExcelService.asmx.

[Session: (null)

This means that the webserver that you are trying to access is unable to process your request.

However, this should be intermittent. Please try after some time, or call up the support team of those web services.

Been trying it for 4 days now

I look after the server. What would i need to change / ammend? Everything else works in the SSP.

Got it to work - the Shared services application pool was stopped
