ASP.NET - How do I can drag and drop image in a aspx file?

Im creating a asp.net web application where I have a image control, My problem is when I try to place the image into a desired location it is not moving, please provide a way to archive this. Any help appreciated.

there is no locking or any other mechanism to lock controls at specific places. Using absolute positions would not be an option because you will have to deal with screen resolutions and other variable stuff.
You would use controls like Tables, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to position your controls.
This is what I think you are after, at least that's what I understand from your question. Sorry, If you meant something else.

You can assaign the target place for droping and after this state support you code domain for draging event for runtime. There are many example for this opprtunities if I did not understand faintly. I think you know the spessific possition in the dessign time.

Your Visual Studio IDE will not allow you to drag drop the controls to absolute positions but you can do it from declarative code on the .aspx page. You can achieve it through positioning your image as absolute and provide the left, top, bottom and right values in pixels. Below is the sample HTML image control
