Asked By Joe Flannigan on 11-Feb-10 06:24 PM
Hi All

I have been having a problem with "access connection cannot run on this platform " error. I can connect to my wireless router just can't get internet access. The access say local only.

I have other computer connected to my router and work fine.

I have been through forums after forums trying patches but no fixes.

The laptop I'm using is x200 IBM think-pad using Vista O/S.

Grateful of any help

Joe

Some times this problem occur because in windows vista and higer versions, the ipv6 is enable
Try this:
1. Uncheck ipv6 setting on your wireless network adaptater properties.
2. Check if your donĀ“t have one ip address configured on your wireless network adaptater properties. Or if you need one ip addres to access to your wireless router.

I hope this information help you.
