Exchange Server - Outlook 2007 not sending mail via Outlook Anywhere

Asked By peter on 23-Feb-10 10:58 AM
This is my first time working with Exchange 2007 and Outlook Anywhere.
When I send and email to someone from my Contacts, the mail goes through.  But, when I type an email not in my Contacts list I get a bounce back:

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

When I look into the Sent Items folder the email shows, but the To: portion has =SMTP:<email address>.
I actually have to click on To and go into the Contact to select.  If I type in the email address without going into the Contacts, it fails.

Please help

Can you test an email to your external account such as gmail.com and see if you able to send it out. Please check at Send Connector if it was configured correctly
