Microsoft Excel - Excel 2007 a special charcter (a square box with a question mark)
Asked By a on 12-Apr-10 10:34 AM
Why do some users see a special charcter (a square box with a question mark) while other don't? We are all looking at the same file? Is it because some users have both Office 2003 & 2007 installed?

Where do you see this special character? Without knowing the answer I would venture the guess this simply is related to which fonts a user has installed on their system...

I see the characters inside a side between characters, where a carriage return would normally appear.

I am not clear on what you mean by 'inside a side between characters'. Could you provide an example, or upload the workbook?

It's like this:
2) Wait for MAIN page to appear.<HERE'S WHERE THE QUESTION MARK IN THE BOX WOULD BE>
Wouldn't you know it wouldn't copy to this program?!

sorry, but I remain baffled and have no idea what might be causing this. You might want to consider to turn directly to Microsoft.
