Windows Vista - Dark gadgets in sidebar

I am using windows vista and the gadgets in the sidebar of my pc appear to be either black or not visible. How could I solve the problem? Thank's.

Right click on that gadget..

you will get the option of Opacity and change its value based on your requirement..!!
