C# .NET - Using Microsoft Office Visio 14.0 Drawing Control in a C# WPF Project

Asked By Andreas on 03-May-11 05:12 AM
Hi,

I just try to add a Microsoft Office Visio 14.0 Drawing Control to a new C# Project, using WPF.

Sadly the Drawing Controle item is greyed out in the Toolbox and can not be dragged to the editing window like it works with windows forms (also with C#).

Does anybody have an idea how to solve this problem?

Thank you!

Hi,

thanks for your reply.

But thats how to add the Visio Drawing Controle to a C# Project with Windows Forms.

I´d like to do that with WPF.

After adding the Control to the Toolbox it is just greyed out and cannot be used.

So do you know how to add the control to a project with wpf?

Thanks!

Thanks for this link!

I use a Control designed by Microsoft (Visio Drawing Control), so I don´t need to create my own.

But I added the Ressources "Microsoft Visio 14.0 ..."
- ... Diagram Launch Control
- ... Drawing Control Type Library
- ... Type Library

- Microsoft Office 14. Object Library

to my Project.

But I´m still not able to add the Visio 14.0 Drawing Control to my C# WPF Project.

Any more ideas?

Thanks!

Andy
