SharePoint - outgoing email settings in sharepoint 2010

i went through the steps and have installed the smtp server

could any one tel what i should add in the outgoing email settings for

outbound smtp server

Hi,

As I know you can create a mailbox like this click on start -> Manager your server -> Manage this email server -> Server name -> Domain name -> Add mailbox.
To configure sharepoint outgoing emails, goto Central administration, select Operations tab -> Outgoing email settings -> provide required information.

Try this and let me know

i cant find manage your server, when i click on start

Hi,

Just do this to find mange server

Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.

its available in administrative tools
