I can't see any files and the dvd drive asks to insert a cd ! but other cds are working properly and the devise manager doesn't shows any problem. Please solve this problem

I think the CD is protected or burnt with security so you cannot copy the content.

I have few CD/DVD which are working and playing perfectly in the dvd player but when i insert it into my laptop it does not show any data :-|

Some LG optical drives or a handful of the writer drives do not identify discs that are written with multi-session, where a cd is yet to be closed. You may need to check the disc in a newer version of drive.

And you also have to be doubly sure that the disc works otherwise.

a) What software do you use to burn the discs? Can you update it/remove it and give a try?

b) If you test your drive with another disc, and it reads fine- then the media has some issues. It could be the scratches on the disc. Try cleaning it.
