I'm starting to work with SharePoint, however the server that I'm working with was configurated by someone that doesn't work at my enterprise anymore, and now I'm having a problem with the retrieving of information from the Active Directory that SharePoint does to fill and automatically create an user account.
Some of the data are retrieved from Active Directory and saved on the user account, like the user's AccountName, PreferredName, Department and Title, but all the other fields are not filled with the data that should have been retrieved from the Active Directory.
I think that this is a problem caused by the current configuration of the Server, but I don't really know where should I change to solve it. Is it really a configuration problem? Could anyone help me? I would very much appreciate if someone explain to me, step by step, how to solve this. Thanks.
