C# .NET - Scroll text to left in aspx - Asked By Dom Afonso on 18-Aug-12 05:55 AM

I have the javascript function below that scrolls text to the right. Does anyone know how to update the EXACT FUNCTION so that it scrolls text to the LEFT?

<script type="text/javascript">

$(document).ready(

function () {

$(

'.scrollingtext').bind('marquee', function () {

var ob = $(this);

var tw = ob.width();

var ww = ob.parent().width();

ob.css({ left: -tw });

ob.animate({ left: ww }, 20000,

'linear', function () {

ob.trigger(

'marquee');

});

}).trigger(

'marquee');

});

</

script>

<div class="scroller">

<div class="scrollingtext"

style="font-size: x-large; font-weight: bold; width: 1027px; color: #FF6666; right: 4px; height: 53px; top: 2px;">

<br />

SCROLLING TEXT

<br />

<br />

</div>

</div>

The CSS look like below:

<

style type="text/css">

div.scroller

{

position

:relative;

height

:63px;

width

:911px;

display

:block;

overflow

:hidden;

top: -12px;

left: 0px;

}

div.scrollingtext

{

position

:absolute;

white-space

:nowrap;

font-family

:'Trebuchet MS',Arial;

font-size

:32px;

font-weight

:bold;

color

:#000000;

}

</

style>

just replace the word "left" in the script with the word "right".
