Microsoft Excel - retain autonumber sequence after deleting a row in excel

How to retain autonumber sequence after deleting a row in excel.

if I delete a row 3, then excel should automatically adjusts

.. Please help me to get this done.

Hello Prasad,
You could try using something like setting the numbers with =ROW().
If your rows and index number do not coincide you could add or subtract a constant as appropriate.
