VB.NET - MSMQ Trigger - Asked By Trey Elliott on 12-Apr-04 08:37 PM

I was wondering if it is possible to raise some type of event, using MSMQ triggers, to tell my VB.NET program that a new message has arrived in the message queue?

Basically I am trying to get away from polling the message queue (sorry if I am a performance freak). I rather have the message queue singal that is has new messages. And from all the reading I have done VB.NET dosen't have an event that dose what I need (something like MessageArrived). So I am down to MSMQ triggers, but if you know of a better method I am willing to try anything out.
