ASP.NET 2.0 Quickstart Samples Online

We get so many questions that can easily be answered by either visiting the Quickstart online web, or installing same on your own machine (it installs with Visual Studio.NET) this is the URL to the Release quickstart for Visual Studio.NET 2005. Add it to your Favorites right now!

To install and configure the QuickStarts

The QuickStart Samples option must be selected during setup of the .NET Framework SDK in the stand-alone or with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. This option is not selected by default. The QuickStarts are installed in the following locations depending on whether you installed Visual Studio 2005.

\Program Files\Microsoft.NET\SDK\v2.0\Samples

\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Samples

The QuickStarts must be configured for your computer. Follow the procedures described in the StartSamples.htm file located in the Samples folder. A wizard will configure the QuickStarts provided that you have the required components as described on StartSamples.htm.
