Today I received a message from my sister :
"I hope that you have a GREAT day. I look forward to seeing you at the premier event in town- "BIG SISTER DAY" held at the most renowned hotel in Frederick, The Ritz at St. Andre's, in the posh suburb of Robin Meadows. Cheers!"
In light of the fact that I am the renowned guest chef at said Ritz, it would seem that attendance is mandatory.
This is the inherent flaw of being a foodie, renowned in your own circle of family and friends - pro bono compulsory employment. Its made all the worse because all my sisters are obsessed with seafood, and the lean, healthy flesh of the slimy buggers from the sea ain't cheap. Even Catfish, cheap eats of the cash starved south, will run you 5.99 a pound up in these parts. Let's not even talk about da tuna. Ouch.
