Follow these simple steps to configure SSL for your website.
1. Type "inetmgr" without quotes in your run menu and press the enter key.
2. When the IIS console opens, select the root node , and in the content pane to the right , click on "Server Certificates"
3. In the Actions pane to the far right, click on "Create Self-Signed certificate"
4. Give a name for the certificate. Press Ok to exit.
5. Now select your website, and select the Binding options to your right.
6. Choose "Add Site bindings". Choose "https" as the type, and also set the new certificate created in the SSL Certificate option.
