This shows how to Configure List and Item level security in Sharepoint 2007?
Unlike database, sharepoint allows you to set security at item level !!
To configure list level security, select your created list -> Settings -> List
settings -> Permissions for this list -> Actions -> Edit -> Edit
permissions -> Actions -> Edit users permissions. You can specify users
or group to whome you associate your create list.
To set item level security, select your created item, Right click and select manage
permissions -> Actions -> Edit permissions -> Edit permissions ->
Select user -> Actions -> Edit user's permissions.
