ORA-00038 Error -> Cannot Create Session: Server Group belongs to another User

This explains the oracle error, ORA-00038 in detail, the possible reason(s) and steps to solve the same in Oracle Database.

Oracle Error: ORA-00038

Description: Cannot Create Session: Server Group belongs to another User.

Reason(s) for this Oracle error: This error will be raised when an attempt was made to create a non migratable session in the Server Group which is owned by a different user.

Possible steps to solve this error:
1) In non migratable mode, the first user who logs into the server in the Server Group becomes the owner of the Server Group. Remaining subsequent non migratable mode logins must be made by the user who owns the server group. The ownership of the Server Group needs to be changed to have different user login into non migratable mode. This can be changed by logging off all current sessions and removing all existing servers in the server group. Now, the new user whom desired to become owner needs to log in to become the owner of the server group.
