I want to show database values for autocomplete of textbox.
how it can be done using javascript and xml file ?

To achieve auto-suggest functionality with the plain XMLHttpRequest object, check this demo - http://www.objectgraph.com/dictionary/ and explanation - http://www.objectgraph.com/dictionary/how.html

The Anthem.Net AJAX framework includes an Autocomplete control for ASP.NET 1.1:
