Windows Vista - Everytime WLM opens: Recovering the Windows Live Mail Database

Using Vista Home, Service Pack 1, on newer HP Pavilion Laptop

No matter how I closed the application previously (Red X or File/Exit) the program ALWAYS starts up with the error.

First popup: Recovering the Windows Live Mail Database

Second popup: The message store has been corrupted. Windows Live Mail has been able to successfully recover from this corruption: (0x00000000)

I click OK, the application opens fine, everything intact.

Sounds like a bad install or something has gotten corrupted.
Try un-installing and re-installing the application. WLM uses a number of
data stores and without knowing which one it's going to be hard to fix.

You could always delete (or rename) your Store folder (with WLM closed).
WLM will then recreate the Store folder upon restarting. You will have to
start from scratch with all your accounts, newsgroups, feeds, and emails
though, as they will all be gone from WLM. I have decided that despite WLM
having good backup functions, I will still regularly back up my Message
Store.

The database is having problems. What you need to do is move the message
store folder to another location on the hard drive, then start WLMd and let
it build a new database.

Since the e-mails are stored in individual .eml files, you can drag and drop
them into a WLMd folder (I would suggest you create on in the On This
Computer folder).

Tools | Options | Advanced tab | Maintenance button | Store Folders button
will shwo the location of the WLMd message store.
