SQL Server - sql query to select records entered in last 24 hours

hiii,

i m using sql server 2000.In my database table i have various fields and a date field of "DATETIME" datatype....whish holds entry of type..."2026-01-14 21:57:10.053"

my requirement is to create a c# application to run sql query...to select the records entered in last 24 hours....show it in grid view.....n then ....email that grid view report......

plz...cud any1 tell mee.........query...to select records entered in last 24 hours accuratelly...

and ..............codes to e-mail that grid view data.............

try the below query...

select * from tableName where filedName >= dateadd(hour,-24,getdate())
and fieldName <= getdate()

WHY NOT YOU GO WITH BETWEEN FUNCTION

SELECT * FROM TABLE NAME WHERE DATE IS BETWEEN DATABASE DATE AND CURRENT DATE

This query will not select the last record. It will select the maximum record. Its just like

SELECT MAX(Column_Name) from table_name;
