Windows Server - event ID 333 - Asked By aa aa on 29-Dec-09 11:13 AM

I kepp getting the eventID 333 on windows 2003 server std SP2, every 20 to 35 seconds all the time in the system event log.

I have read about the event and it says download some hot fixes, so I did but didn't help.

I also read about the boot.ini and /3GB, I checked the boot.ini and it doesn't have this option (/3GB).

any idea on how to fix this?

Thanks

Azar.

As http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950310 Knowledge base article points out , "On a Windows Server 2003-based computer that has the Remote Installation Service (RIS) service installed, a nonpaged pool memory leak may occur. "

And http://blogs.technet.com/askperf/archive/2007/10/30/troubleshooting-event-id-333-errors.aspx technet blog post also reveals other reasons.
