Windows Live - Photo emails stuck in Outbox - Asked By Janine on 25-Jun-10 12:38 AM

All my mails are sent out, except my photo emails with the photos in the mail. They stay stuck in the Outbox till I delete them or they delete themselves after a couple of days. Before, I never had that problem, but I don't know what caused it suddenly. Maybe I checked the option to automatically turn my emails with pictures into photo emails. I don't know, I just know that I can attach the pictures only at full resolution but then I can send only a couple of pictures, but if I sent it as a photo email it stays in the Outbox and isn't sent out. What can I do?

Are you using some account provided by your ISP? Looks like there is a restriction at the server side to not to receive attachments(or emails with more than certain size). This might be the reason your emails are not going.

To know the exact problem, try the below.

Send a email with photo attachment and verify that it still stays in outlook.

In your outlook click on the button send/receive and let the receive fail

After the fail, just note the error message displayed in "send/receive" window.

This clearly explains where the problem is.

Whenver an email gets stuck in the "Outbox", you simply need to hold down your left mouse button and drag it to any other folder (I use the Draft folder) then click Send/Receive again. You will see a copy of the email being sent, again. Simply stop the send process and drag that email to the Trash. You may have to do that once or twice. Once the outbox is empty, send a test email to yourself with no attachments.
refrv this for same problem
