hi, I entered a simple code in notepad. and i saved the file as punctual.aspx. i have IIS in my system. and i have .NET framework. I created a virtual directory as c:\mylabs with alias 6030. and i have stored the .aspx file inside the physical directory. now guide me how to run the code. ? i cant get a exact solution from anyone. pls guide.

Hi,

1. Create a Asp.Net web application project.

2. Publish the project

3. Copy that published to your physical irectroy in IIS.

4. Browse your page

This will work

You can run your project by hosting in IIS

Step 1 : Build - > Publish Web Site

Step 2 : Publish it in the IIS server's folder : C:\inetpub\wwwroot

Step 3: Open IIS

Step 4: Expand the Root Node of the IIS in the left panel. In the Sites node you will get you published site

Step 5 : Right click on the your site and Choose Convert to Application:

Step 6: Now it will be converted to application Now Right click on it and choose Browse :

Done!
