  1. In Add or Remove Programs, click Add/Remove Windows Components.

  2. In the Windows Components Wizard, under Components, select Application Server.

  3. Click Next.

  4. After the wizard completes the installation, click Finish.

If you need to install Reporting Services then IIS is required

To install IIS, add components, or remove components using Control Panel

1.

From the Start menu, click Control Panel.

2.

Double-click Add or Remove Programs.

3.

Click Add/Remove Windows Components.

4.

In the Components list box, click Application Server.

5.

Click Details.

6.

Click Internet Information Services Manager.

7.

Click Details to view the list of IIS optional components. For a detailed description of IIS optional components, see "Optional Components" in this topic.

8.

Select all optional components you wish to install.

go to Start->Run type inetmgr and press OK. If you get an IIS configuration screen. It is installed, otherwise it isn't.

You can also check ControlPanel->Add Remove Programs, Click Add Remove Windows Components and look for IIS in the list of installed components.

To Reinstall IIS.

Control Pane -> Add Remove Programs -> Click Add Remove Windows Components Uncheck IIS box Click next and follow prompts to UnInstall IIS. Insert your windows disc into the appropriate drive. Control Pane -> Add Remove Programs -> Click Add Remove Windows Components Check IIS box Click next and follow prompts to Install IIS.
