When I open the Devices and Drivers page, the green bar keeps on searching for ever, no icons or anything appears, yet I can print and scan!? Can somebody help me please? Thanks

I recently had to turn off Pc-Cillin, an Anti-virus package to get this working on my machine. Not sure why though.
You might have to add certain rules that need to be excluded during real-time scans.

And did you try disconnecting from the network, and then open up the Devices and Driver pages?

This happens when some of the drivers are uninstalled from your computer, but the device is there, so whenever it scan , if found the device but not the drivers of it.

You should check of which device drivers its searching and install the proper drivers for that particular device
