Windows 7 - problem relating to microsoft document imaging

hello,
my friend had send me a scanned file which is in hindi(mdi)
now i m not able to read it as it is showing letters in english ,jumbled up.
can u help me ...............................

When you say you scanned the fiel in Hindi.

Did you simple scan it in as a photo or document or did you try to do and OCR and read it into a file for editing. I am not familiar with any language software for OCR I am sure they have it but you would need it if you wanted to convert the Hindi to english.
