Follow the below steps,
Step 1
Check the connection to the internet,
start Internet Explorer and connect to any web site, if the connection
is slow, probably because of errors can be a slow connection. It is
advisable to wait until the stable internet connection, and then try
again to log in to Windows Live Messenger, if the problem is resolved
skip the next steps.
Step 2
If the problem persists, try to reset or cycle
power to the modem, restart your computer and you try to log back on to
Windows Live Messenger, if you can’t connect to internet but performed
these procedures normally navigate:
go to start > all programs > Accessories,
and then click the right mouse button on “Command Prompt” and select
“run as Administrator”, copy paste this command ipconfig/release and
press “enter” key on your keyboard, type or copy paste this command
ipconfig/renewpress “enter” key on your keyboard and then click on the
red X to close the window. If you use a wireless connection (wi-fi)
restored the link to the internet. For testing the connection start
Internet Explorer and connect on this site: http://www.microsoft.it/ , if the problem persists, contact customer service to solve the problem and to get more information.
Step 3
Go to start > all programs > accessories
at this point, click, right-click “Prompt” and select “run as
Administrator”, a window will open copy paste this command
ipconfig/flushdns , press “enter” key on your keyboard and then click on
the red X to close the window.
Step 4
Configured the Windows Firewall or your
antivirus. After you have configured the Firewall performed again to
Windows Live Messenger, now you should be able to connect without any
problem.
