VB.NET - Is there any Scheduler control for Vb.Net?

Greetings,

I`m wondering if there is any scheduler control in Vb.Net -MS VS 2005- and if not I hope I can find a one - free - that I could use on my application...

Please advise me or give me a hint on how to implement scheduling tasks requirement in my application..

Thank you kalpana for the link you provide..... I just want a vb.net 2005 windows (not web) scheduler control...and I`m not sure if I could use the one in the link... Is there another one?? 

Ideally, one would develop a windows service for such scenarios. You can use Task Scheduler otherwise. 

Or, are you looking for a simple datetime control, which allows you select dates from the UI?

I`m just looking for a Win scheduler control (i.e. Monthly , weekly, daily schedulers) that can be used in windows form in vb.net 2005...This scheduler is going to be used to show an appointments, events, tasks, etc..

Is there such a control in vb.net or is there any free one to use from a third party.??

There are couple of them in CodeProject, which have a customized view of the standard calendar control and have extended them to show appointments as well.

The projects seem to be in C# , but changing C# to VB.Net is no more a barrier.
