Windows 7 - data in windows jumps and scrolls by itself

My Windows 7, 64 bit, operating system has a problem. The data in open windows, all of them including Outlook, IE9, my tastbar program list and even the control panel jumps around and scrolls erratically. I had to use system restore to regain control. I don't visit questionable websites and I have Microsoft virus checkers installed. Please help!
