SharePoint - Order of 2010 SharePoint Servers Shutdown and Restart

Hi All,

We have a SharePoint 2010 Server farm with 2 WFEs and 2 APP Servers.

Can you please suggest on the order of shutdown and the order of restart of the servers?

hi,

Your will mirror will re-synch once cluster that realizes mirror is back online.One another thing that only member you are leaving out is sql box . It should be up and runningbefore the web servers come on line.tou are not stating how 2 wfe are coming online but would take these downfirst and bring them up last.

Shutdown WFEs first, then APP servers, and if required also SQL servers.

Bring them back in reverse order - SQL, APP then WFEs.
