Microsoft Word - Freezing a paragraph - Asked By yasir Ahmad on 08-May-12 06:19 AM

hi,
Thank you for giving me this opportunity,
I have a word file in which there a paragraph (the first one) I want to edit the rest of the document while this para, should be always on sight, so , is it possible to freeze it like in Exel?

Thanks

In the upper right corner of the document viewing area, above the scroll bar, there is a window splitter you can use.  Hover your mouse over the top of the vertical scroll bar, and move it up until you see a bar with an up and down arrow above and below it.  When you see this pointer, click and drag the window splitter to where you want it.

It isn't quite as handy as Excel's Freeze, but should do the trick.
