ASP.NET - asp.net MVC4 C# - URL rewriting Question

Hi,

I want to create URL like this:

www.website.com/somestring

and it should go to www.website.com/somecontroller/someview/somestring

in cshtml page: I want to read "somestring" like querystring.

My Questions:
1. How do you set routing rules which does not hurt existing functionality such as www.website.com/somecontroller/someview?

2. how do you read "somestring" in cshtml file?

You are more than welcome to change "www.website.com/somestring" url if it is easier.
