ASP.NET - RadDatePicket is not working properly

I am having a raddatepicker telerik control which i am loading dynamically , when the selecteddate is not populated the raddatepicker is not using the below skin and it is showing weirdly


rdp = new RadDatePicker();
rdp.Calendar.Skin = "Web20";
rdp.ID = "detail_" + dr["DetailNumber"].ToString() + "_cal";
tc.Controls.Add(rdp); if(dr["currentValue"] != null  rdp.SelectedDate = Convert.ToDateTime(dr["CurrentValue"]);
                    

Can any body please help me when the selecteddate is null , the skin is not applying for this  control?

It is very urgent
