hi ,

i have some value like 1/30 now i want when i put this value in cell it display 1/30 only in cell as well as in formula bar.but not in text . is there option in custom option,

Hello Usha,
If you look under Cells/Format/Number the is an option called Fraction that should do what I think you want.

harry, but it show 1/30 in cell but in formula bar it`s shows 0.033333333333, i want in both place it`s shows 1/30. only

Hello Usha,
If you enter the value as =1/30, it will appear that way in the formula bar and as 1/30 in the cell.
I think that is the best you can do unless you enter it as text.
