ASIDE TO THE OWNER:
Does your system require me to reply directly to the original author?
If I hit reply, does the original author get it as well as the author of the reply?
Do you get a copy of them all?
Just wondering how you coded it.
I spent many years coding and continue on.
My favorite time was the help desk question Q where I was told by more than one company to stop answering the calls.
Why? I was told more than once that I should not answer the IT call Q because:
1. they did not want to raise the expectation of the caller to a level where they expected an actual solution to their question or problem
2. I raised the level of quality too high for the rest of the staff such that they could not keep the results at my level
3. I pissed off the rest of the staff for making them look stupid because they had no answers for most everything
4. blah blah blah same old shit...
5. I was the only one who coded all day and was actually at my desk to answer any calls from the Q
6. my time was supposedly better spent elsewhere, such that they had two human interfaces to me so I never had to actually talk to the people who wanted stuff done ... not my idea -
7. filtering me pissed me off and bored me to tears, so come bonus time, if they didn't pay as agreed...piss off
and blah blah blah... new tech... I love it... its about friggin time

I find it fun to help a new guy out with something when I can.
(especially if it will make a big difference and isn't just some RTFM type thing)
BTW, I did write a bit of C# to enable OrmLite.MySQL for tables that already exist.
I did not get answer. It could use some work, but it is better than writing it all by hand.
I was thinking of adding a SQL file for the alter table commands to make it comply.

but it beats the hell out of writing your own db layer
