we have two ways of creating a proxy

one is directly adding web refrence of the service

using the url

another is using a tool (wsdl.exe)

and generating a proxy

what is the difference

?

Visual Studio uses tools like this under the covers.  The tools are for people who do not want to pay for Visual Studio .NET but still want to use the language and framework.
