C# .NET - Var and specific class name - Asked By karur krishna madhu on 26-Jul-13 02:52 AM

I have a class with name customers and i usually create an instance like below

customer c=new customers();

where c is the ref variable for the instance created for the class customers.

until var has come

var c=new customers();

I would like to know what is the difference? var is used to implicitly assign the datatype for the variable based on the data it holds.

Is there other side of the coin for this? what is the advantage over class c to var c?

Advantage?  Less typing.  It is shorthand.  Nothing more.  Nothing less.
