WCF/WF - what is the difference between a base address and an endpoint(Addr,binding,contract)?

I would like to know the difference between end point (ABC) and  a base address in wcf? i get base address only when i create a service as a wcf service library and i dont get the same base address if i create the service using a wcf service template.
