VB.NET - database customization of erp w.r.to clients

iam working in erp solution(vb.net front end,sql server 2005).it is a customized
package .working in more than 50 clients .if i make a change in database .i willput the
query in a notepad and update in each clent location.but handling notepad is a risk taking work for me.some times me or my supporting team forget to update notepad files with database queries.but exe will change.in this case database fields or stored procedueres mismatch wit h exe.error will come out.after reporting this error we updated the database changes.all things will be ok after this.but clients will irritated by this.so i need more flexible solution to update database.if any one have suggestions please guide me
