Lounge - Software developer in asp.net with 5 yrs exp

i am a Software developer in asp.net with 5 yrs exp, now how should i further progress in my career like, should i try for Technical lead or sotware architect else should i try for project manager like client ineraction and people management,
which should i aim for ? which will be better ?

my second question is i work in Asp.net, c#, sql, javascript etc. , so on these technologies should i focus deeply on any
one technologies like doing certification or else its ok to be neutral with all the technologies i have said.

These days, you have to be really good in all sorts of web related technologies.  Certifications help of course but being able to demonstrate that you can write well structured code is far more important than whether you can pass a test.

Managers are a dime a dozen and there are not a lot of companies that want to spend money on a software architect.  The best money is in being the technical lead unless you decide to go the contractor route.
