Microsoft Access - I want a query between two dates and also total the sales column just for those dates

I have a database that I want to query between two dates and then list the value of sales between those two dates only.

ie

query would be:  What were the sales between 1/1/2013  and 7/1/13

Result
1/1/2013    £200.00
3/1/2013    £300.00

             £500.00



I hope this makes sense and someone can help?
