I apologize up front because I 'm sure this has been asked and answered in the past, but I do not use Word often and I'm not even sure what terms to use to ask the question properly to do a search.
I'm using MS Office 2007 and two of our contracted employees did not have their contracts extended and I was left taking over a Word document one lady used to send people account information for conference calls. There are about 25 fields that need to be filled in, but most of it is duplicated as the total number of unique cells is around 5. In Excel I could put the customer's name in Cell A1 and for each duplicated cell just put "=A1", and when I print the document as a PDF the values are there and no one is the wiser. How could I do this same type of function in Word?
Also I learned a lot of my Excel tips & tricks from ExcelIsFun on Youtube. It takes you from the very basics through all the formula's and covers some VB along the way. There are many sites out there, but this is the best I've found. Could someone share a link that covers the same type of information for Word? I don't mean to be lazy, but I don't want to reinvent the wheel here and spend hours looking for a good site when I'm sure people have already picked out a couple that are amazing. Once I'm there I should be able to self-help quite a bit.
As you can see by the sanitized example below, some of the information is already repeating. The same informaiton is given higher in the document with the host information and codes, the participant info (duplicated as the host info minus the host password), and then the same two fields just mentioned are duplicated again for the web meeting.
As you see the telephone numbers for the web meeting do not have the dashes - that is so you can copy and paste the information into the webpage directly as the site will not allow hyphens in the fields. I'm assuming I could just use some form of formatting to show one field with the (877) 665-5443, and leave the formatting as general text so it would appear as 8776655443 in the other field versus using a VB macro to strip out the hypens?
Thanks in advance for your time and help!
