SharePoint - I want to learn Sharepoint and have setup a Virtual Machine. Should I install MOSS or WSS?

I am referring below article to setup sharepoint server on a virtual machine.

I was wondering if it is sufficient to install WSS3.0 instead of MOSS 2007.

Any suggestion ?
