Outlook is regularly freezing up, which takes several forms:
Sometimes a message window doesn't open completely, shows only the to/from/subject lines, with message section showing contents of another window.
Sometimes I can't access a folder:
"Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. You don't have appropriate permission to perform this operation."
OR
"The set of folders cannot be opened. The file C:..... is in use and cannot be accessed. Close any application that is using this file, and then try again. You might need to restart your computer."
and system frequently freezes "not responding"
I've run scanpst, compacted folders, reduced folder size. I only have one add-in -- Kaspersky anti-virus -- and tried shutting it off, doesn't seem to make a difference. I have a pretty simple set up, no Exchange connection, just use the hard drive in my laptop, no shared connections.
