ASP.NET - Why should avoid caching in asp.net C#

Hi,
Should we avoid using of caching in asp.net application ?.

There is no use of caching in my project where I am currently working. I am unable to ask my senior why do they not use caching.
Is there any demarite of using this. If yes Pls elaborate.

The only reason is the obvious reason, you want each page to always show the most recent data.
