here is my code

status = status.filter(Boolean);

this code does not work in IE8

any alter solution for remove initial index of array instead of above code.

What type of object is "status"?  Are you putting "Boolean" in there or a real true/false value?  I do know that IE8 doesn't support a lot o advanced JavaScript stuff including many Jquery things.  These techniques didn't exist when IE8 first came out.
